Technology as a tool for enhancing learning: participation,
motivation and relevancy. The student as world citizen

(First interim report on FSL 161Y)

The Department of French has invested to a significant degree in the use of technology as an aid in teaching, learning and research, including the creation of a Technologies Coordinating Committee (TCC). Among the tasks the TCC has set  for itself, and an important part of this technological investment, is the experimental format of its principal first-year undergraduate language course, FSL 161Y, Practical French.
