La technoculture du NEF
Cette rubrique en puissance (recherches en cours) s'inspire en grande partie du "Memory Project" de la NACWOLA (National Community of Women Living with AIDS in Uganda). Selon les objectifs de ce projet, "Parents are supported through training to disclose their HIV status and ill health to their children, plan for the future by establishing child guardianship arrangements, and provide documentation of important family history and precious memories in the format provided by the Memory Book." Comme le dit Karen Palmer, dans un article intitulé "A mother's memories" paru dans le Toronto Star du 11 mai 2006, le sida, en affaiblissant les liens intergénérationaux, menace la transmission orale traditionnelle de l'histoire familiale et communautaire ; l'écriture est ainsi amenée à relayer l'oral dans le maintien du patrimoine.
